Laura Tilt (Bsc, Msc)
Nutrition and Health

Laura graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BSc in Nutrition Health and Lifestyles in 2005 and went on to complete an MSc in Public Health Nutrition from London Metropolitan University in 2006. She is currently studying a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics.

Over the last 3 years Laura has been Fitbug’s resident nutrition and health specialist, helping to devise Fitbug’s activity and healthy eating programmes. Laura contributes regularly to the nutrition and health content on Fitbug.com which includes recipes, meal plans, articles and expert advice - she is also responsible for Fitbug’s regular Weight Loss Challenges.

In 2008 Laura worked closely with Bradford and Airedale PCT on a pilot programme to reduce obesity through the use of activity in weight management, and has most recently written and developed Fitbug's own weight management programme for use within the public health arena.

My career in health and fitness stems back over 20 years. I have spent that time presenting, designing, developing and instructing health and exercise programmes.
