Glasgow’s John Sutch has more ’get up and go’ thanks to his Fitbug which was part of a trial campaign at the Tesco in Shettleston.

In fact John has so much get up and go that he’s gotten all the way to number one in Scotland and third in Fitbug’s UK Division 3 of Fantasy Footfall.
John had been ill and the Fitbug gave him the incentive to focus on getting fit and healthy. He found inspiration with Kenny Fitbug’s in-house trainer at Tesco.
While John’s goal is a little different than most, trying to gain weight and bulk himself up a bit, the journey has similar steps, healthy eating and exercise.
Says John, ’Fitbug is different because it kept me focussed and the targets and colour codes on the graphs have really helped. Fitbug works because it motivates you by setting targets.’
Not surprisingly (as top of the leagues) he says he enjoyed the challenges and competitions the most. He also reports that Fitbug has given him more focus and motivation and in fact, prior to Fitbug a day off would consist of sitting around watching the telly, but now, he’s happy to get up and go out for a walk.
His one piece of advice to his fellow Fitbug folks, is ’don’t give up! Sometimes you have good days and sometimes bad days but don’t get disheartened.’ Sounds like winning words.
