TUNA STEAKS IN GINGER

Serves 4

Ingredients:
4 tuna steaks (125g each)
2 cloves garlic
1 piece of ginger sliced
1 tsp mustard seeds
400g pak choi
1 tbsp soya sauce
1 red chilli
1 tbsp clear honey
1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
Juice of one lime

How to:

  • Mix the mustard, chilli, lime juice and honey together to make the marinade
  • Pour over the tuna steaks and leave in the fridge for two hours
  • Heat the olive oil in a griddle pan
  • Remove any excess marinade from the tuna and reserve
  • Sear the tuna in the pan for 2 minutes on each side
  • Heat a wok with a small amount of olive oil
  • Add the mustard seeds, garlic, ginger and pak choi and cook for 2 minutes
  • Add rest of the marinade and soya sauce and warm through
  • Serve with the tuna.
