PUY LENTILS

Serves 4

Ingredients:
200g puy lentils
100ml red wine
1 small onions chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
1 bsp balsamic vinegar
2 tsp mediterranean mixed herbs or 1 tsp paste

How to:

  • Fry off the onion in a small amount of the olive oil
  • Add the vinegar and season
  • Add the lentils, red wine and 300ml water to the pan (you may need extra water during cooking)
  • Cook the lentils for approx 30 minutes until the water has been absorbed
  • Add the vinegar and season
