Hello. We recently asked you, our members, to take part in a survey about your Fitbug experience.
We really value your opinion, so we were thrilled that several thousand of you responded - it's been great to learn more about your Fitbug experience, what you'd like to see more of, and what you think we could do better.
We thought you'd like to know a bit more about the results and what we're planning to do as a follow up to your feedback.
If you have any further questions or comments about the survey you can contact us here.
From all of the Fitbug team, a big 'Thank You!' to everyone who took part.
The good
It was great to see that 70.4% of you who responded felt that Fitbug was either good or very good at helping you to achieve your goals, and that over 80% of you find your steps targets motivating - fantastic!
65% of you said that Fitbug's energy balance concept was useful, although some of you were unfamiliar with what this meant, so we'll be explaining how the energy balance works in an article over the coming weeks.
70% of you said you find the information in our articles and emails useful always or mostly, and the overwhelming majority think that the frequency of our communications is just enough.
In terms of the information in our articles, many of you said you were happy with the content, and that you found it helpful and informative. There were lots of requests for more fitness specific articles and help with motivation, so look out for these over the coming months!
The not so good
In terms of things you'd like us to change - many of you commented that our web guide Amanda popped up too frequently and too loudly, so we're going to look into changing the settings so you can control whether you'd like her to play or not.
Lots of you also told us you'd love it if we were Mac Compatible. [updated 07/07/2010] - We are now please to report that we are now Mac compatible. To install the Mac Bug Manager software please visit the Download Page.
The speed of the website was another area you found frustrating - we're currently undergoing a new process of archiving our data which we're hoping will make a difference. We'll keep you updated.
Last but by no means least, you identified the nutrition section as being the area you found most difficult. We're aware that logging your food intake can be a complicated process, so we're going to be adding more foods and portion sizes in the coming months and working on simplifying the nutrition section.
