By using any Fitbug site (a "Site") and our services, you unconditionally agree to be bound by this Privacy & Cookies Policy. Fitbug wants to offer you the best possible Internet experience. What do we collect and use personal information for?

In order to:

  1. Administer your accounts and subscriptions with us;

  4. Administrate or otherwise carry out our obligations in relation to any agreement you have with us including your subscription to our service
  5. Verify your identity (for example, in the event you are a competition winner)
  6. Anticipate and resolve problems with any goods or services supplied to you
  7. Carry out market research and tracking of sales data
  8. Send you information about products and services (if you have chosen to receive such information)
  9. Pass your information to our loyalty scheme / reward programme partners in order that they can manage your membership and award you points

We need to collect and process personal information about you (including your name, a user name, gender, birth date, and, in connection with your password, an answer to a question that only you would know). We may ask you for this information through our Site, or via one of our telephone operators. Certain information is collected automatically, as described later in this Privacy & Cookies Policy.

If you use a Fitbug Lab Kiosk, the information we collect about you will be included with your membership data and used by us to manage your use of our services.

Although we do not make it compulsory to give us every item of information we ask for, the more information you volunteer (and the more accurate it is), the better we can tailor our services for you.

Certain Fitbug products or services may be offered in conjunction with our carefully chosen partners such as product fulfillment partners. If in order to use that service or purchase a particular product, your personal information needs to be shared or if our partner needs to collect and use it, then we will tell you when you first go to use that service. Please note that certain products or services may be unavailable if you do not want to disclose the personal information you are asked for.

Where you are a member of a loyalty scheme or rewards programme operated by one of our partners, and you are able to earn points through your use of the Site:

1. We may pass certain of your personal information, to the relevant partner, in order that they can manage your membership of the loyalty scheme or rewards programme and award you points. Fitbug is not responsible for the use of your personal data by the operator of any other partner loyalty scheme, and you should ensure you read the relevant privacy policy issued by the relevant operator.

2. The operation of that scheme or programme, and the award and redemption of points, will be solely the responsibility of that partner, and not Fitbug, and any questions or complaints that you may have about the scheme or programme, including your membership of it, should be directed to the relevant partner, and not Fitbug.

3. In the event that you a are a Nectar Collector and have opted in to receive Nectar Points through use of the Site, Fitbug will share your activity information (such as steps and nutrition), with Loyalty Management UK Limited in order for LMUK to manage your Nectar account and award you Nectar points. Fitbug may also share your responses to the Fitbug Health questionnaire to assist LMUK with managing the Nectar Programme.

Log files/IP addresses

When you visit our Sites, we may automatically log your IP address (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet) which is automatically recognised by our web server. We use IP addresses to help us administer the Site and to collect broad demographic information for aggregate use.

Non personal information

We may automatically collect non-personal information about you such as the type of Internet browsers you use or the site from which you linked to our Sites. You cannot be identified from this information and it is only used to assist us in providing an effective service on our Sites. We may from time to time supply the owners or operators of third party sites from which it is possible to link to our Sites with information relating to the number of users linking to our Sites from their sites. Employee Membership

Where your Subscription to the Service was arranged in connection with your employer, we may, from time to time with your permission provide to your employer data concerning activity, nutrition, health checks and other Fitbug Lab Kiosk generated data.

We may in any event provide your employer with aggregated statistical data concerning activity, nutrition, health checks and the Fitbug Lab Kiosk data which may identify groups of individuals (such as teams or departments).

Improving our service

If you have agreed that we can, staff from Fitbug, or from our agents, may contact you from time to time by e-mail or by telephone in order to get your views and comments on the service we provide to you.

Disclosing your information to others

Other than the disclosures referred to in this policy, we will not disclose any personal information without your permission unless we are legally entitled or obliged to do so (for example, if required to do so by Court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime).

We will only sell your personal information to a third party as part of a sale of the assets of a Fitbug Group company.

Information about products and services

It is very important to us that we provide you with the highest level of service. In order to help us do this, where you have agreed to receive such information (including signing up for a Fitbug newsletter) from time to time companies in the Fitbug Group may send you details of products and services which we think may be of interest to you. In addition, from time to time (again, where you have agreed, including signing up for a Fitbug newsletter), companies in the Fitbug group may share the information you supply to us with selected third parties to enable them to send you information which may be of interest to you.

Keeping our records accurate

We aim to keep our information about you as accurate as possible. Public forums and chat rooms

Fitbug's Sites may make chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups available to its users. Any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should always be careful when deciding to disclose your personal information.

Transferring your personal information outside the European Economic Area
