Smile Another Newbie!

Hi

I joined fitbug just under two weeks ago and am finding it quite good so far. It's been interesting finding out just how much I was eating each day and whereas we usually eat healthily it would appear it's been a tad too much

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) at Easter having put on just over 2 stone in just under 3 months. I was reasonably fit until then, walking 3-5 miles a day with my dogs, going to dancing classes etc etc but unfortunately this all got knocked on the head. I'm hopefully on the right dosage medication now and feeling a lot better. I'm finding this really helpful in being able to monitor my excercise and food intake in the hopes of losing some of this weight and getting back to where I was towards the end of last year!

I'm meeting most of my targets each day but sometimes don't always get the target steps, I only reach them if I take the dogs out for a really long walk twice a day which isn't always possible, not sure at this stage if that makes any difference?

Oh well, happy walking and eating!

Welcome Chrissie01! It's good to see you here on the forum and thanks for introducing yourself.
It's sounds as though you're on the right track - it's good to hear how different people are getting on, so do keep posting.
